Comcast Contract / Package as of 9/1/2026
Subject: Announcement: New Comcast/Xfinity Contract Approved Effective Sept. 1
Dear Residents,
We are pleased to announce that today, Thursday, August 6, the POA Board officially approved a new agreement with Comcast/Xfinity.
Starting September 1, 2026, our community will transition to a new bulk Double Play (TV & Internet) package.
Key Highlights of the New Agreement:
- Package: The new Double Play package includes TV and Internet which will continue to be billed directly through your HOA dues.
(Note: Due to billing cycles, the POA dues each HOA pays will be formally adjusted in October 2026, individual HOAs will advise on their billing updates) - Upgraded Internet Speed: Internet speeds are being upgraded to 1 Gbps (Gigabit) access for all residences.
- Peacock TV Streaming: The new package includes Peacock Premium streaming service at no extra cost for 2 years.
Upcoming Information & Next Steps:
To keep details clear, we will be sending out two separate follow-up emails shortly regarding:
- Equipment Upgrades: Some current equipment can already support 1 Gbps speeds until our upcoming fiber upgrade takes place. We will send full details on equipment compatibility and replacement steps in a dedicated email.
- Landline Phone Service: Because the new contract is a Double Play package, home landline phone service (Xfinity Voice) will no longer be included in our bulk agreement. If you wish to keep a landline, it will be billed directly to your personal account. We will send specific instructions on how to port your phone number, opt out, or keep your line to avoid unexpected fees.

Call Comcast (1-800-XFINITY) to have them mail the new box to you and give you instructions on how to return your old box or visit a Comcast Store to exchange in-person. There are Comcast Stores at:
- Village Green Center – 2815 State Road 7, Suite 300, Wellington, 33414
- Green Acres Plaza – 3943 Jog Road, Greenacres, 33467
- Delray Marketplace – 9173 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, 33446
Your best option is to bring your box(es) to the UPS store in the Charleston Square at 6586 Hypoluxo Rd, Lake Worth (Hypoluxo and Jog by Winn Dixie). They have the mailing address of Comcast, will package your box(es) and send them at No Charge. The UPS Store Phone is (561) 432-8890.
Comcast reserves the right to bill you for any box that you fail to return and is subject to supply chain issues and short staffing. New boxes come with improved self-install instructions. Most residents will be able to install their new box themselves without any trouble. Those needing assistance call 1-800-XFINITY and they will walk you through the process.
